Manually Check Software Update (OTA)
Most of the smartphone OEMs always try to push the firmware update via OTA in batches according to the region server and mobile carriers. So, it may not be possible for all the Redmi Note 9 Pro / 9S Indian variant users to receive the OTA update notification at the same time. In this case, if you don’t want to wait further, you can easily check for the OTA update on your handset via Settings > About phone > Software update.
Alternatively, you can directly go to the Software Updater app on your device and check for the same. If the new March 2020 patch is available, just grab it. Make sure to connect your handset to a Wi-Fi network and the battery should be charged more than 50% minimum.
