Updated on July 08, 2021: Redmi Note 8 Pro received the MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 R with June 2021 security patch. The update is live with software version V12.5.1.0.RGGMIXM.

Updated on January 22, 2021: Today Xiaomi rolled the January 2021 security patch to the device with software version V12.0.6.0.QGGMIXM.

Updated on November 18, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled the November 2020 security patch for the Redmi Note 8 Pro globally with software version V12.0.5.0.QGGMIXM.

Redmi Note 8 Pro started receiving the latest MIUI 12.0.2.0 Global Stable ROM based on Android 10. The update bumps up a new software version V12.0.2.0.QGGMIXM. Although it’s an MIUI 12 Beta Stable version, it’s expected that users may not experience any major bug or error in this build.
