Starfield has just been released, and it’s already a huge hit. Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, the action role-playing video game takes you to the Milky Way galaxy, which can land on over a thousand planets.
If you’re a gaming enthusiast, you’d want to tweak a few settings for better control and performance. You might also look for the save file location to save a copy of your game progress, settings, and preferences. Finding the Starfield save and config file locations on a PC can be tricky. Starfield Save File Location
Starfield save files are located at this location: C:\Users\[Your Username]\Documents\My Games\Starfield\Saves
[Important: You must replace “Your Username” with the actual username of your PC.]
The Saves folder contains all your saved files.

The Config file for Starfield can be found at C:\Users\]Your Username]\Documents\My Games\Starfield\
At this location, you will find the “StarfieldPrefs” file. This is the configuration file of Starfield that you were looking for.
As mentioned before, you have to replace “Your Username” with the actual username of your PC.

- Resolution Scaling
That’s all you can edit within the Config file of Starfield. To edit this file, you can use a simple text edit such as Notepad.
