WWE 2K22: How To Fix Slow Motion Issue

According to multiple reports online, whenever WWE 2K22 players are launching the game on a PC, everything seems in slow-motion for no reason. So, if it’s happening to you then follow all the steps one by one until the problem gets fixed.

1. Change the in-game resolution

Make sure to change the in-game resolution quality to 1920×1080 or 1200×1080 which are actually recommended to run the game. If in case, your monitor resolution supports lower than that, try using the native display resolution accordingly. Sometimes a higher display resolution may cause multiple issues like graphical glitches, black screen, white screen, slow motion issues, blurriness, etc. To change in-game graphics resolution:

  • Open Steam > Go to Library.
  • Click on WWE 2K22 and then click on Play to launch it.
  • From the in-game menu, go to Options.
  • Go to Graphics Settings > Here you can choose your preferred screen resolution for the game.
  • Once selected, press the Space button on the keyboard to accept/save it.

2. Turn On/Off Windowed Mode

  • Close the WWE 2K22 game completely > Open File Explorer or This PC > Go to Documents.
  • Open the WWE 2K22 folder > Right-click on the Config.ini file.
  • Select Open with ‘Notepad’ > Once the config file opens, you can find out [window] option is set to yes.
  • Just make sure to replace it with no > Press the Ctrl+S keys to save changes.
