Before moving to the guide, we recommend you to first check if the OTA is already available for your device manually. To do that, go to the phone Settings > About Phone > Software update. Additionally, you can perform this task via the Software Updater app directly. If the software version is available, you can grab it.

November 26, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled November 2020 security patch for the Redmi 9A in China with software version V12.0.5.0.QCDCNXM.
September 15, 2020: Xiaomi rolled the September 2020 security patch for the device with version V12.0.3.0.QCDCNXM.
August 20, 2020: Today Xiaomi rolled the second version after the release of the smartphone with version V12.0.2.0.QCDCNXM. The update brings the August 2020 security patch and bug fixes.

How to Install MIUI China Stable ROM for Redmi 9A (dandelion)
Installing the stock ROM or upgrading the MIUI version on Xiaomi devices is comparatively easy. But you should follow all the pre-requirements and downloads below before proceeding.
Pre-Requirements:
- Supported for: Xiaomi Redmi 9A (dandelion) only. The device should be running on stock ROM to apply the update.
