List of AICP 13.1 Supported device [Android Ice Cold Project 13.1 Review]

Android is the most popular and widely used mobile operating system globally due to its open-source nature and customizability options. But custom firmware is all about more customizations. Here we’ve shared a List of AICP 16.1 (Android 11) Supported devices and Downloads for all the compatible devices you can install now. Custom ROM is all about wide-range of customizations than a Stock ROM.

Although Custom Firmware may cause performance or app compatibility issues in some scenarios, many Android customization lovers are focused on it. Not only can users customize a whole device interface such as themes, icons, fonts, status bar, lock screen, gestures, navigation bar, quick shortcut tile, power menu, boot menu, widgets, visualizers, and more, but they also can get a stable & smooth experience in day-to-day usage.

Note that installing custom firmware on an Android device requires an unlocked bootloader to jump into the process. Additionally, you’ll require a custom recovery menu installed on the handset to load and flash the third-party aftermarket firmware quite easily. Now, you may ask whether AICP ROM is good enough to use on a primary device as a daily driver. Well, take a quick look below.

List of AICP 13.1 Supported device [Android Ice Cold Project 13.1 Review]

What’s AICP ROM?

AICP (Android Ice Cold Project) started way back in 2012 and it becomes one of the oldest as well as widely used ROMs to date. Until Android Lollipop, the ROM was based on AOKP. But AOKP has stopped the development process and AICP has changed the base to CyanogenMod (LineageOS). Then it changed to be based on the ‘Ground Zero Open Source Project’ (GZOSP) for Android Pie.

Next, AICP has changed again for Android 10-11 with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device-specific repositories. So, if you find any bug or issue with this ROM then make sure to report it to the AICP developers. AICP offers a lot of customizations as well as substratum support to the devices. Additionally, it offers Magisk pre-installed so you don’t need to re-flash Magisk while updating via OTA.
