Turn off Bluetooth for Other Paired Devices
If you are using the AirPods in both of your iPhone and Mac, then while using it Mac, turn Bluetooth OFF from iPhone and check whether it is working or not.
- Open the Settings app on the connected iPhone.
- And tap on Bluetooth.
- Toggle the Bluetooth slider towards the left to turn OFF the Bluetooth.
Disable Automatic Ear Detection of AirPods Pro from iPhone
- Open the Settings app on the connected iPhone.
- And tap on Bluetooth.
- Tap on (i) next to your AirPods Pro name.
- Now scroll down and turn off the toggle for Automatic Ear Detection.
- Next, tap on Microphone
- And select Always Left AirPod or Always Right AirPod.
Restart the Devices Connected with AirPods Pro
o fix the issue of AirPods Pro frequently disconnecting, restart your connected device. After this, the problem will most likely be addressed.
Reconnect AirPods Pro with your iPhone or Mac
- Open the Settings app on the connected iPhone.
- Then, tap on Bluetooth.
- Now tap on (i) next to your AirPods Pro name.
- Tap Disconnect.
- Now go back to Bluetooth settings
- And tap on AirPods Pro name to reconnect it.
Reset AirPods Pro
- Keep your AirPods Pro in the charging case and close the lid.
- After 30 seconds, open the lid. Do not take the buds out.
- Now, open the Settings app on your connected iPhone.
- Tap on Bluetooth and then tap on (i) next to your AirPods Pro name.
- Tap on Forget This Device and confirm the action.
- Finally, connect your AirPods Pro again to your iPhone.
- To do this, press and hold the button on the back of your charging case.
- When you see the setup card on your iPhone screen, please follow it.
Update Software of your iPhone, Mac
Update iPhone
From iPhone:
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Then, Tap on General.
- Tap on Software Update.
- If there any update available, tap on Download.
From iTunes:
- Download the latest version of iTunes on your computer.
- Now connect your iDevice with your computer.
- Click on the iPhone icon on iTunes.
- Now click on Summary to check if there ant iOS update.
- Finally, click on Download and Update.
Update Mac
- Launch System Preferences app on your Mac.
- Now click on the Software Update icon.
- Now, you can see if your Mac is up to date or not. It also lets you know if there are updates available for the computer or not.
Update the Firmware of AirPods Pro
- Make sure that the AirPods are connected to your iOS device.
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Then, tap on General.
- Now, you need to tap on About.
- Next up, tap on AirPods.
- On the next screen, check out the Firmware Version of your AirPods. Also find out the serial number, model number and the hardware version of your AirPods.
