You can’t upgrade the Huawei Honor Play Android 9.0 Pie Update manually using our instructions as there is no possibility to unlock the bootloader. Since May 25, 2018, No More Bootloader Unlocking for Huawei devices.

Huawei Honor Play was launched in India in July 2018. Huawei Honor Play features a 6.3-inches display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The smartphone is powered by Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) and Hisilicon Kirin 970 processor coupled with 4/6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB internal memory which can also be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The camera on the Huawei Honor Play comes with Dual 16 MP + 2 MP with LED flash rear camera and 16MP front shooting camera for selfies. Wait! Update is currently in beta stage.
To manually install pie update. Bootloader should be unlocked. So donot download the file unless your phone bootloader is unlocked.
We need to wait for honor to release the stable version.
