If you’re using Android for some time, then you obviously know that this is the most popular smartphone OS around the world due to its customizations. Plenty of users use Android only for customizations, modifications, or tweaking their devices. But in that scenario, sometimes users brick their devices or face boot loop issues or any kind of software-related issue. Therefore, the official Stock ROM comes in handy. If you’re also facing a similar kind of issue and want to go back to the Stock ROM, you can do it manually by flashing the firmware.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Device Overview:

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The brightness is also quite high, with maximum peak brightness reaching up to 1500 nits, making outdoor visibility no issue at all. As for the protection, we have the industry best Gorilla Glass Victus protection in the S21+, and we also have the HDR10+ certification for HDR video playback.

For processing power, we get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 for the Chinese and American market, while the rest of the world gets the Exynos 2100 chipset. Both these processors are built on a 5nm manufacturing process. The Snapdragon 888 is an octa-core processor consisting of one Kryo 680 core clocked at 2.84 GHz, 3 Kryo 680 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz, and four Kryo 680 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Exynos 2100 is also an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X1 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.8 GHz, and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz.

In terms of optics, we have a quad-camera setup at the rear and a single high megapixel camera at the front. The quad-camera setup consists of a 108MP primary sensor paired with an f/1.8 lens, a 10MP periscopic telephoto lens paired with an f/4.9 lens, a 10MP telephoto sensor paired with an f/2.4 lens, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor paired with an f/2.2 lens. The rear setup is capable of capturing 8K videos at 24 fps. We also have stereo sound recording and HDR10+ video recording. Coming to the front, we have a 40MP lens paired with an f/2.2 lens. This is capable of capturing 4K videos at 60 fps.

The smartphone is available in three storage options: 12GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage, 12GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage, and 16GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage. The top option is definitely an overkill for a smartphone. The phone comes with Android 11 out of the box, with OneUI 3.1 running on top. In terms of connectivity, we have Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2.

For sensors, we get the under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer. Again, we get the Samsung exclusive Samsung DeX, Samsung Wireless DeX, Bixby natural language command and dictation, and Samsung Pay with the S21 Ultra, too, just like the S21+. The smartphone is available in five color options: Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, Phantom Titanium, Phantom Navy, and Phantom Brown. The base variant of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra starts from 105,999 INR or 1,178.95 USD.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Stock Firmware

Android is an open-source platform where the developers can easily build Custom Firmware and other apps or mod files compatible with any particular Android device. Some times, the user can brick their devices during flashing any custom file or Custom ROM. The smartphone OEMs don’t provide too many customizations or functionalities to the device with a Stock ROM. Though, Stock ROM offers a better user experience and smooth, stable performance over any Custom Firmware.

Whereas, the Custom ROM mainly focused to offer great customizations and visual experience than any Stock Firmware. That does not mean Custom ROM can’t provide a better user experience. But as your daily driver, you will soon notice that your device is getting unusable every day on a Custom ROM.

If you have already flashed any custom firmware on your Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G model or running on the Stock ROM but have some software performance issues then installing the Stock ROM again will solve your problem.
