How to Siphon the Gas from 1 Vehicle on Ashika Island DMZ Fuel Shortage

The ‘Fuel Shortage’ mission is one of the preliminary White Lotus Tier 1 missions in Warzone 2 DMZ, and it necessitates the siphoning of gas. If you’re unsure how to siphon gas in DMZ or how to refill a vehicle using a gas can, you’re in the right place. Here’s how to successfully finish the ‘Fuel Shortage’ mission in Warzone 2 DMZ.

How to Siphon Gas in Warzone 2 DMZ

Despite the lack of explicit instructions, ‘Fuel Shortage’ can be easy once you get the hang of it. Your initial step is to siphon gas.

My experience with Warzone 2 DMZ allowed me to complete the ‘Fuel Shortage’ mission swiftly. I initiated by heading into Ashika Island and pinpointing a gas station. After stealthily neutralizing the surrounding guards, I fetched a gas can from a shelf in the gas station.

You’ll typically find a vehicle near the gas station — get inside. Once seated, open your backpack (press down on the d-pad for consoles). Hover over the gas can to see prompts for ‘refuel’, ‘drop’, and ‘siphon’.

However, remember that siphoning gas from a vehicle is impossible if your gas can is already full. You need first to use the can to refuel.

How to Refueling a Vehicle using a Gas Can in Warzone 2 DMZ

After some driving to reduce the vehicle’s gas, open your backpack, select the gas can, and press ‘refuel.’ This will lower the gas content in the can. Now, you can press the ‘siphon’ button to fill your gas can back to 100%.

That’s all there is to it! You have now accomplished the ‘Fuel Shortage’ mission in Warzone 2 DMZ. With the understanding you’ve gained about siphoning and refueling, you’re set to tackle future missions more efficiently or work towards unlocking the Wallet. This practical knowledge will be invaluable as you navigate the dynamic world of Warzone 2 DMZ, and boost your gaming performance. So, buckle up, and may your gas cans always be full when needed!
