Is it a Waterproof Device?
Xiaomi is known for not designing their device to be waterproof. They produce the most powerful devices which can compete, even Samsung and Google. But they haven’t added any water resistivity to their devices.
Therefore it should be very clear that Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra won’t have any waterproof protection. Since Xiaomi hasn’t mentioned anything about water resistivity, it is safe to assume that the device is not waterproof.
However, it is possible that the thin polymer coatings can handle a few splashed of water and dust, but it won’t survive if you dunk your smartphone underwater. Even more, there are no IP ratings available for Xiaomi Redmi K30 Ultra, so yes, definitely, the device is not waterproof.
