The Samsung Galaxy A51 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display also has an 87.4% screen-to-body ratio and a pixel density of 405 PPI. The display also contains the in-display fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the device. The device has a plastic back and the same plastic frame too.

Underneath the device, the in-house octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC which pairs Mali-G72 MP3 powers the Galaxy A51. This SoC is built on the 10nm process and this also pairs with 6 and 8GB of RAM and 64 and 128GB of internal storage. Further, the storage is expandable via MicroSD card up to 512GB. How To Install AOSP Android 14 on Galaxy A51 (a51)

As the title indicates, this article provides the necessary steps and requirements to install the AOSP Android 14 build on the Galaxy A51 (a51) model.

Before diving into the guide, please ensure you’ve met all the prerequisites listed below.

Pre-Requisites

Before we begin this procedure, I strongly recommend you create a backup of your device storage and all your files stored on your device. Moreover, following the steps mentioned in this post carefully is advised to avoid permanent damage or bricking your device.

Charge Your Phone

It’s highly recommended to charge your handset before unlocking the bootloader to avoid your device from shutting down occasionally while going through the process. Keep at least 50% of the charge or higher for a smooth operation.

Download ADB and Fastboot Binaries

You can skip this adb and fastboot part if you have already installed TWRP Recovery on your Galaxy A51.

Using the ADB and Fastboot commands (platform-tools), you can boot your Android device into the bootloader mode (download mode), making it easy for you to proceed with further steps. ADB (Android Debug Bridge) creates a connection or bridge between the device and the computer to sideload files.

Download Samsung USB Drivers

Instructions To Install:

  1. Connect your device to the PC via a USB cable. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
  2. Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch the Command Prompt.
