What is tuliptool?
This tool allows you to:
- You can check the status of your bootloader
- Allows you to easily Unlock the bootloader
- You can even relock your bootloader
- Easy to Install a custom recovery
- Install a custom boot image
- Download and Extract the Downloaded Tuliptool on your PC or Linux by downloading the Linux binary (tuliptool-Linux) and a Win64 binary (tuliptool-win64.exe)
- For Linux Computer: Create a file named /etc/udev/rules.d/99-qcom.rules with this content exactly as shown:
SUBSYSTEM==”usb”, ATTRS{idVendor}==”05c6″, GROUP=”plugdev”
Ensure your login user is in the plugdev group.
For Windows PC Computer:
– Download zadig
– Connect your phone and Put in EDL Mode (Power off and connect your device while pressing both volume button, this will put your phone in EDL Mode)
– Now, wait until the Windows will install the Qualcomm USB Drivers. (We won’t be using it so you can cancel if you wish, but it won’t hurt anything.)
– Run Zadig and Find your device number 05c6:9008 and install the WinUSB driver for it.
– Once it is done! You can disconnect the device. - Check the below USAGE line.

This will read the selected partition to name-backup.bin

This will write name.bin to the selected partition

So, for example, to write the included TWRP image, first copy tulip-twrp-7.1.1.img to recovery.bin and then run tuliptool write recovery.
