Vivo launched the V20 (2021) series a few months back. Prior to this, Vivo launched the Vivo V20 SE smartphone, which is a mid-range smartphone that packs a year-old Snapdragon 665 processor. The phone came with Android 10 out of the box with FuntouchOS 11 on top.
Today Vivo has finally rolled the Android 11 update to the Vivo V20 SE in India with software version PD2038F_EX_A_6.71.0. The update brings FuntouchOS 11.1 to the top with all the Android 11 features and customization. In this guide, we will show you how to install the Android 11 firmware file manually on Vivo V20 SE.

Vivo V20 SE – Device Overview
Vivo V20 SE is a mid-range device that is powered by the Snapdragon 665 processor and is coupled with 8GB of RAM. It comes with a 6.44-inch display with a 1080P Full HD+ display. There is a water-drop notch at the front of the display that houses the 32MP selfie camera.
The Vivo V20 SE offers 128GB of onboard storage which also has a dedicated microSD card slot. Talking about the rear camera, there is a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensor. The phone is capable of recording 1080P@30fps. The fingerprint scanner is placed inside the display of the screen. The Vivo V20 SE is juiced by a 4100 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Before going to the manual firmware upgrade process, if you feel that your device isn’t receiving the OTA update notification for a while, then you can check for the software update manually. In order to do this:
Go to the device Settings > System updates. It will search for the software update and you will get notified if a new update is available on your device. Simply grab the Android 11 version by downloading and installing it.
