Fix: FIFA 22 Crashing on PC

FIX 4: Disable overlay

Several users disabled the overlay of game launchers; there, the FIFA 22 game did not crash on their PC any further. With that said, we recommend you to disable the overlay on Steam and Origin by the steps given below:

For disabling Steam Overlay:

  • Firstly, launch Steam, and then from the horizontal pane menu, click on Library.

  • Now on the right-pane menu, untick the checkbox for the option Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game and then check for improvement.

For disabling Origin Overlay:

FIX 5: Optimize the graphics settings

Be it FIFA 22 or other games, users often prefer running them on high or ultra-graphic settings. However, when the PC isn’t that powerful such settings can lead to game crashing and other similar issues.
