Hide or Show Like Counts on Instagram

Let me tell you that if you have more than 1 account on Instagram, then for each account, you have to separately hide the like count for any post that you have shared. The above condition is for hiding likes on both your post as well as for other Instagram users.

Steps to Hide Like Count of Other Instagram Users

• Go to Settings > Privacy
• Tap on Posts
• Under the Likes and views tab, there will be the option Hide Like and View
• tap on the toggle beside it to enable it
• Later if you want to see the likes and views on the posts of other Instagram users, then follow the above steps
• Tap on the same toggle to disable the option

Hiding Like Count on Your Own Posts

Now, let me tell you how to hide the likes of your own post. It’s pretty easy to do.

• Log in to your Instagram account
• Open any post
• tap on the 3-dot button
• from the menu select Hide like count. This will make the like counter invisible for everyone that comes across the post.

• Later to undo the above setting, follow the same steps
• Tap on Unhide Like count from the menu

• Select and edit your image
• In the caption section, tap on Advanced Settings
• under that, tap on toggle beside the option Hide Like and View Counts on This Post
