Using an Anvil to repair a bow

First and foremost, you need to craft an Anvil. You must have enough iron(4 Iron Ingots and three iron blocks) in your inventory. Arranging these items correctly in a 3 x 3 grid will craft you an Anvil. After preparing the Anvil, follow the given steps to repair your bow.

1. Open up Avnil from your Inventory.
2. Put the broken bow in the first slot.
3. Fill the second slot with units of material used to make a bow.
4. The Anvil will fix up the bow without losing its enchantments.

Apart from fixing bows, Anvil can be used to combine and rename items in Minecraft.

Fix a Bow Using the Crafting Table

You will require two damaged bows in order to use this table. Now, drop two bows in this table, and this will result in a repaired bow with enhanced durability. This is an easy method, but it has some snags in despise. However, this method is not suitable for enchanted bows. Dropping enchanted bows in the table will result in a repaired ordinary bow. We suggest using this method for ordinary bows as enchanted bows are precious.
