Realme X7 Waterproof Test
If you have read the specifications of X7, by now, you know that it is a decent smartphone with all those good features we want. However, is it worth it? Is it a waterproof device? Well, since there aren’t any IP ratings available for Realme X7, we can assume that it is not a waterproof device.

However, since the smartphone is protected via Corning Gorilla Glass v5, we can assume that the smartphone can protect itself from a small amount of water. It means X7 is splashproof and dustproof, and it may even survive underwater for 5 min, but it isn’t waterproof. Therefore, people haven’t tested the X7, because if they do, they clearly know beforehand that the smartphone will not survive.
Realme X7 Pro Device Specifications
Realme X7 Pro was released on 15 September 2020, and it is the advanced version of the X7 model. Therefore, you can easily guess that it is also equipped with 5G technology, and yes, you are right. The dimension of the X7 Pro is 160.8 x 75.1 x 8.5 mm and weighs 184g.
A little heavy than the X7 model, also it has a Dual Nano SIM support. The display type Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which size is 6.55 inches. With 16 M colors, you will also get the resolution o 1080 x 2400 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the display very well. Even more, it has a 20Hz of refresh rate.
X7 Pro runs on Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ chipset along with Octa-core (4×2.6 GHz Cortex-A77 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. You are thus making the x7 pro version a little more superior than the x7 model. Unfortunately, there is no external card slot, and depending on the price, you can get the memory of 128GB /6GB RAM, 128GB /8GB RAM, 256GB /8GB RAM.
The main rear camera supports quad cameras of 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP with LED flash, panorama, and HDR support. The front camera is 32MP with HDR, there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack support, and other specs are the same as the X7 model. However, the battery is of 4500mAh Li-Po, of course, non-removal, and supports fast charging of 65W. The X7 Pro is available in Dark Blue, White, and Rainbow color variants.
Realme X7 Pro Waterproof Test
By the X7 Pro specifications, you might have noticed that the smartphone specs are only slightly superior to the X7 model. But is it waterproof? Well, no, the device isn’t waterproof because there aren’t any IP ratings available for Realme X7 Pro. Which means Realme hasn’t performed the IP evaluation water test. The most probable reason is that they didn’t indent to manufacture a waterproof device.

If they had built a waterproof device, they would test it well, and the IP ratings will be available on the Webpage, but there isn’t. Due to corning Gorilla Glass, X7 Pro can be splashproof and dustproof, but not a waterproof device.
Conclusion
After conducting a waterproof test on Realme X7 and X7 Pro, we can assure the users that the device is not waterproof at all. Moreover, the device is not dustproof or Splashproof, for that matter. It is quite unexpected to see a good budget segment smartphone having no water protection at all.
