The Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, codenamed golden, was released in October 2012 with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as its operating system. Recently, this device received official TWRP recovery support, allowing users to install TWRP Recovery on their Galaxy S3 Mini. This guide provides written instructions and a video tutorial to help you install TWRP Recovery quickly. Be sure to download the required files before proceeding.
It’s important to note that before you begin the installation process, you must first unlock the device’s bootloader. Smartphone OEMs provide locked bootloaders to their devices for security reasons, so to install any third-party files, you must unlock the bootloader. Once you’ve done that, you can install TWRP Custom Recovery on your Galaxy S3 Mini device and root it. With TWRP Recovery, you can perform various tasks such as Nandroid backups, system/data/cache wiping, and more, giving you greater control over your device.
