Few players are also saying that this error is related to Tactical Grenades. That means if a player throws out a grenade before moving in a game, the game won’t crash. But if a player moves and throws a grenade, it’ll crash with this error.

Some players have also reported that while using skins or outfits for operators other than the default ones is also causing the Dev Error 5573 issue. But don’t worry. If you check out the following methods, you might gonna get rid of this issue.

For PC Users:

3. Close Unnecessary Background Running Tasks

Sometimes unnecessary background running tasks can also cause several issues with the game launching or gameplay. If you’re facing the same problem or the game starts lagging then make sure to follow the steps below:

  • Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open Task Manager.
  • Click on the Processes tab > Select the task that you want to close.

  • Once selected, click on End Task. Make sure to do the steps for each task individually.

For Console Users:

4. Reboot Your Console

  • Make sure to press and hold the Power button on the PS4/PS5 console until it beeps twice (the gap is around seven seconds). Whereas it’ll beep only once if it’s in “Rest Mode”.

5. Update Your System

For Xbox:

  • Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
  • Select ‘Profile & system’ > Choose to ‘Settings’.
  • Select ‘System’ > Then select ‘Updates’.
  • If you see a Console update is available under ‘Updates’, select the update to begin downloading and installing the update.
  • Follow the onscreen steps to complete the update and reboot the console.

For PlayStation:

  • Select the ‘Settings’ menu from the PlayStation 4/5 home screen.
  • Select ‘System’ > From the System Software section, choose ‘System Software Update and Settings’.
  • Choose ‘Update System Software’ if an update is available.
  • Follow the on-screen steps to complete the update and reboot the console.

6. Clear Cache on Console

It’s also worth mentioning to clear the cache on PS4/PS5 or Xbox console to fix the issue completely.

For PS4/PS5:

  • Fully power down your PlayStation 5. [Do not enter Rest Mode]
  • Wait for the lights on your PlayStation 4/5 to turn off completely.
  • Now, unplug the power cable from the back of your PlayStation 4/5.
  • Then you’ll need to wait for around a couple of minutes.
  • Next, plug the power cable back into your console.
  • Finally, turn on your PlayStation 4/5.

For Xbox:

  • Make sure to turn off your Xbox Series X|S using the controller. [You can also directly Power Off the console using the power button]
  • Now, unplug the power cable from the back of your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.
  • Wait for at least two minutes or so and then plug the power cable back into your console.
  • Finally, turn on your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.

7. Clear Game Data

It seems that deleting the installed game saved data on the console can also fix several issues with the game launching or gameplay. You should try performing this method to check for the issue.

For Xbox:

  • First of all, quit the Call of Duty Vanguard game completely > Select My games & apps.
  • Select See all > Make sure to highlight the Call of Duty Vanguard game.
  • Select Manage game and add-ons > Go down to Saved data.
  • Choose the Delete all button > Wait for it to complete.
  • Finally, relaunch the Call of Duty Vanguard game to check for the issue.

For PlayStation:

  • Go to Settings > Select Application Saved Data Management.
  • Choose either System Storage or Online Storage or USB Storage > Select Delete.
  • Select the Call of Duty Vanguard game > Checkmark the files that you want to delete or Select All.
  • Finally, select Delete > Select OK to confirm the task.
  • Once done, reboot your console to check for the issue again.

8. Test your Internet Connection

If nothing seems working for you, try testing your internet connection on the PC or console to check if there is an issue with the network speed or stability.
