Fix 1: Restart the Game

Before trying anything, our first recommendation is to rerun your game once to ensure a good and clean environment for your device to run the game properly. There are a few changes that the issue may occur due to some temporary files that prevent your game from running smoothly on your device. Well, these files are nothing but the cache data that your system stores when you play the game.

However, these files get removed when you rerun your game. But, hold on! We are not saying that you just close the game and again run it. Instead, you first close the game and then open the Task Manager, and in the Processes tab, locate every single process related to Fortnite and close it. After that, reboot your device and launch the game to check if the issue gets fixed or not.

Fix 2: Check Server Status

Did you check if your games server is live or not? Well, sometimes, due to maintenance purposes, the servers are down by the developers. So, if that’s the case, everything goes in vain as nothing will help you until the developers again make the servers run. So, to check if the servers are running or not, you can go to the DownDetector to verify if other users are facing the same error or not. Also, you’ll see an I Have a Problem With Fortnite.

In addition, open your eyeballs and keep your eyes on their Epic games official Twitter handle. They always keep their users informed whenever there is an issue with their servers. Moreover, you can also check out the server status by going to the Epic Games Public Server Status

Fix 3: Check Your Connection

Most of the time, due to a poor internet connection, our Fortnite Creative is not able to work properly as it fails to connect to the servers. So, it is very crucial to have a good internet connection. You can cross-check if your internet is working fine or not. To do so, you can hover to the Ookla Speed Tester website to check your internet speed.

However, this website will tell you the exact uploading and downloading speed that your WiFi connection provides at that time. Meanwhile, if the speed is not so good, then contact your ISP provider and ask them to fix the network issue or increase your connection frequency.

Fix 4: Power Cycle Your Router/Modem

There are chances that your internet may get down due to your router/modem, as sometimes temporary files get stored on your device, which blocks the connection. So, if after checking your connection speed, you’ve found that your WiFi connection provides you relatively poor connection, then before contacting your ISP provider. We suggest you power cycle your router or modem. Yes, you can simply plug out all the wires from your router and modem after turning off the power button.

Then, wait for at least 10-20 seconds; after that, plug in all the wires one by one and turn on the power button. That’s it; once all the LEDs start blinking, hover to the Ookla website again using your browser. Then, test your internet speed again. If the connection error gets fixed, then rerun the game and check if the Fortnite Creative not working issue gets fixed or not.

Fix 5: Enable/Disable VPN

Sometimes, using a VPN connection may also hope to fix this kind of error. However, in case you are already using a VPN service, then before opening the game. First, disable the VPN and then launch it. After that, when the game directs you towards the loading screen, minimize your game and reconnect your VPN service.

This will surely help you fix if Fortnite Creative is not working on your PC, as many users find this fix very helpful. Therefore, you should try this and let us know if it really helps. But, yeah!
