What Is Screen Time Password?
This feature was introduced with iOS 12. Screen Time lets you control how you spend your time interacting with your iPhone or iPad. This feature provides you with information on how you are using your time on your iOS devices. You get weekly screen time reports. This feature also lets you set time limits for apps. And eventually protected by a Passcode.
Steps to Reset Screen Time Password on iPad/iPhone
- Make sure that your device is updated to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
- Go to Settings from the home screen.
- And the go-to Screen Time.
- Tap Change Screen Time Passcode, then tap Change Screen Time Passcode again.
- Tap Forgot Passcode?
- Enter the Apple ID and password* that you used to set up a passcode.
- Enter a new Screen Time passcode, then enter it again to confirm and activate it.
Steps to Reset Screen Time Password on Mac
- Make sure that your Mac is updated to the latest version of macOS.
- Choose Apple menu
- And go to System Preferences, then click Screen Time.
- Click Options in the lower-left corner.
- Click Change Passcode, then click Forgot Passcode.
- Enter the Apple ID and password* that you used to set up a passcode.
- Enter a new Screen Time passcode, then enter it again to confirm and activate it.
