Xiaomi Redmi 3 (codenamed ido) was launched in January 2016. The Smartphone came out of the box with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and later upgraded to Android Nougat. We have no information whether this device will receive official support to upgrade the Android OS to a newer version. Since than developer has developed both the AOSP Android 8.0 Oreo and Lineage OS 15 for Xiaomi Redmi 3. If we talk about the specs, Xiaomi Redmi 3 features a 5.0-inches IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using microSD card with up to 256GB. Xiaomi Redmi 3 sports a 13MP rear camera and on the front, it has a 5MP camera for selfies. The device is backed by 4100 mAh battery.
