How to stream HBO Max on Roku?
Firstly we would like to look at the simplest method of all, the HBO Max application. Just open Roku TV or the streaming and get HBO Max installed from the Roku app store. Search for the HBO Max application in the Roku app store and get it installed on your Roku device. Then open up that application and start streaming HBO Max on your Roku device. You will need to subscribe to an HBO Max plan to enjoy its services on your Roku device.
Casting on your Android or iPhone:
- Connect the Roku device and your Android/iPhone to the same WiFi network.
- Open the HBO Max application on your Android/iPhone and start playing something.
- When you are in the media player, you will see a Google Cast button in your screen’s top right corner.
- Then choose the Roku device to cast the HBO Max streaming content playing on your Android/iPhone.
If you don’t see the Google cast icon on your iPhone, then go to your phone’s settings, tap on HBO Max and turn on location services and Bluetooth there. After that, check with the media player on the HBO Max application again, and you will see the Google cast icon this time.
