Fix: Forza Horizon 5 Crashing on PC

Another ultimate ever-evolving open-world car racing video game has been launched recently by Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios called ‘Forza Horizon 5’ under the popular Forza Horizon lineup in November 2021. It’s the 5th title of Forza Horizon and the 12th main installment under the Forza series. Although the game has been rated quite good, some players are facing the Forza Horizon 5 Crashing issue on their PCs.

The game is available for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms that offers a really good gaming experience with hundreds of the world’s greatest cars in Mexico. There is nothing new to PC games because they’re prone to startup crashes or stuttering or lags etc. We can’t also expect to get it fixed from the game developers because there is no issue with the game. It’s mostly happening at the player’s end that can be fixed manually.

Why Does Forza Horizon 5 Keep Crashing?

There is no specific reason behind the PC game crashing or lagging but it seems that there may be some possible factors that can be responsible for such startup crashing issues whatsoever. Here we’ve mentioned all the possible reasons below that you should check out one by one.

First of all, the chances are high that your PC configuration isn’t meeting the system requirements of the Forza Horizon 5 game. Therefore, your PC is unable to run or even launch the game properly. If your PC is old enough or doesn’t have powerful hardware then we’ll recommend you to check the system requirements below. Whereas outdated Windows OS build or an outdated GPU driver, outdated game launcher, issues with the background running tasks, issues with the startup programs, issues with the overlay apps, antivirus software blocking, etc can trigger performance issues or startup crashes on the Windows PC no matter which PC configuration you’re using.
