Comments

  1. Samsung Galaxy J6 has an Exynos 7870, 2GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It has Android 8.0.0. It could get Android 9 Pie. I think those specs are enough for an OS update.

  2. Why samsung j7prime will not get update,Do you have any reasons?
There is a slightly difference between samsung j7prime and prime 2 but why prime 2 will get pie update and why prime don’t get pie update

    1. I think you can see that the J7 Prime 2 is newer from its name.
Many budget phones usually get two major Android updates. J7 Prime comes with Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) out of the box. It got the Android 7(Nougat) update and the Android 8(Oreo) update. It’ very unlikely to get another major Android update
However, J7 Prime 2 comes with Android 7(Nougat) out of the box. It got the Android 8(Oreo) update and still has one major Android update left. That’s why it’s most likely getting Android 9(Pie) update.
