When you use the print to PDF command on your iPhone, you can save the PDF for further use. iOS does have an inbuilt function to do the same, and you don’t need to download separate apps to save PDF files.
Print to PDF on your iPhone
With the print to PDF command, you can convert any webpage or web media into a PDF file. It is especially useful when you need to share the webpage with others in an easily readable manner. The PDF can then be shared with your friends via various sharing methods, including Airdrop, Whastapp, email etc.
Steps to print to PDF on your iPhone:
Open Safari browser on your iPhone.
Navigate to a webpage that you wish to save as a PDF. If it’s an image or media file, open it in a new tab and then follow the below actions.
Click on the print button.
Crosscheck printing pages; you can remove or select pages as required.
Click on the print button.
Now you will see a PDF preview of the content. Click on the share button and share or save the PDF files.
After successful saving of file, you can share it via email or WhatsApp or any other means of communication.
Print to PDF on your iPad
The process of print to PDF on iPad is also similar to iPhone, but more extended features and options. Unlike iPhone, you can turn anything into a PDF on an iPad. Whether it’s your notes, pictures or a webpage. For webpages, you have to use the Safari share tab, and for apps, you have to go into Sharing options and then choose the print option.
Steps to print PDF on your iPad
Open webpage or media file which you wish to save to PDF.
Tap on the share button and click on the print button.
Click on the print button and configure pages.
Click on the print button, and you will see a preview of the PDF file. Tap on the share button, and now you can share the PDF files on Whatsapp, email or even save it to the local storage.
If you wish to print the PDF file, you have to connect your wireless printer to your iPhone. You can do it via iPhone or local printer connection. Some printers support Bluetooth and easy connection over wifi. While some printers have a dedicated app to print pages.
