If you have not downloaded the Facebook messenger application on your desktop yet, then download it before going ahead with the whole method. Click on this link and download the version of messenger according to your Operating system.
- Once you have the Messenger application installed on your Desktop, open it up and enter your account login credentials to open up your Facebook account on the messenger application.
- After successfully logging in, you will see the entire list of conversations on the application. Here, find the conversation that you want to archive in the left pane.
- Click on the three-dot icon next to the conversation that you want to archive and choose “Archive Chat” from the list of options that show up. The entire conversation will disappear from the list of conversations in the messenger application. It will be moved to the archived chat section.
