How to Detach/Attach the Joy-Con Controllers from Nintendo Switch?
Detaching and attaching the joy-con controllers in a Nintendo Switch is as easy as changing the back cover of a handheld device.
To detach the Joy-Con controllers, just press and hold the release button at the back of the Joy-Con. Then slowly slide the Joy-con with a bottom to top motion, and you notice the Joy-Con coming off the device. After you have detached the Joy-Cons, remember to attach the Joy-Con straps before starting a game or software. These can be used as wireless controllers too as the Joy-Con registration information is not wiped out when you detach them from a Switch system.
To attach the Joy-Con controllers, first, make sure that the screen of the Switch is facing towards you. Now to make sure that both the Joy-Cons are appropriately fitted in the correct orientation, use the “-” button on the left Joy-Con and the “+” button on the right Joy-Con as indicators and then align their position appropriately. Now slide the sides of the Joy-Con with the rail on the sides of the console, and do that with a top to bottom motion until you hear a click when you reach the end.
