Elden Ring Best Weapons Tier List

Elden Ring: Best Weapons Tier List

Our tier list for the best weapons in Elden Ring consists of a combined list of all the strongest weapons from the S-tier, A-tier, and B-tier weapons. The weapons are specifically selected based on the strength, power, and durability of each weapon in the game. So, here is the best weapons tier list in Elden Ring.

1. Moonveil

Coming from the S-tier list, Moonveil is simply one of the strongest weapons in the Elden Ring world. If you ever had a thing for using katana, Moonveil will help your dream come true. It looks pretty simple and cuts and slashes the enemies just like any other katana would do.

Perhaps what makes it so special are its skills. Using its skills in the appropriate way, you can level up your hits and even cut your enemies horizontally, vertically, and from every direction as you set your foot into the battleground.

The build-up of the Moonveil is so strong that it can break its enemy’s armor with just a single hit or two. It can even create some heavy damage to the bosses in the big fights and increase your chances to win the battle. To get access to the Moonveil, you need to kill the Magma Wyrm present in the Gael Tunnel.

2. Axe of Godfrey

As the name suggests, the Axe of Godfrey basically symbolizes Godfrey’s vow to conduct himself as lord. This godly weapon is immensely powerful and can knock out your enemies with a single blow. Apart from inheriting Godfrey’s powers, the Regal Roar skill of this weapon helps you produce a vigorous shockwave rising the range of your attack that is almost undefendable.

It has a physical attacking power of 165 and a physical guarding capability of 60. The Axe of Godfrey can be wielded by unlocking the Remembrance of Hoarah Loux and passing it over to Enia present in the Roundtable Hold. The weapon can be further upgraded only with the help of Somber Smithing Stones and strictly cannot be infused with Ashes of War.

3. Banished Knight’s Halberd

Next on the list, we have the Banished Knight’s Halberd, an extremely powerful weapon basically a combination of Strength and Dexterity. The weapon comes with the Charge Forth skill allowing you to knock your enemies down to the ground and far away from you with every single hit. The Halberd can be easily infused with Ashes of War and further buffed with Magic and other consumables.

The weapon although has a slow wind-up, the attacks are lightning-fast. This very combination makes the Banished Knight’s Halberd one of the strongest weapons in Elden Ring. You can obtain the weapon by defeating Edgar the Revenger located at the Revenger’s Shack. On killing the Revenger, you can get the Knight’s Halberd upgraded to +8 which already makes it powerful enough.

4. The Grafted Blade Greatsword

Talking of the greatswords, the Grafted Blade Greatsword is a truly epic weapon in Elden Ring. Now, just as it sounds, it is a pile of fine swords grafted together into a single colossal blade. This monstrous blade is extremely powerful and can instantly cut through its enemies. What’s more interesting is, you can obtain this greatsword at a very early stage in Elden Ring.

But what makes it challenging is, you would need a whopping strength of 40 in order to wield this crazy blade in the first place. As a result, most players had to spend a long time before they can get the Grafted Blade Greatsword. Obtaining the sword seems relatively easy.

You can get the sword by defeating the Leonine Misbegotten boss in Castle Morne which is pretty easy. But again, the stats are what make it difficult to wield at such an early stage of your adventure.

5. Dark Moon Greatsword

Well, if you were waiting for something that makes every attack look more intense and stylish, here is it. The Dark Moon Greatsword can even be recognized as an enhanced version of the Moonlight Sword. The sword is terribly enhanced to make each attack fill with immense power and strength.

In fact, its skill allows you to seamlessly use your magic attack power as you hunt for your enemies. The blade can provide some slowing frost damage keeping your enemies standing at their place while it cuts through them.

You can get this weapon by giving Ranni the dark moon ring below the Cathedral of Manus Celes. Note that it cannot be infused with Ashes of war nor can it be enchanted with magic. The sword is basically a beam of light of Ranni’s sigil. It can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones. Every attack from this sword releases a blast of moonlight making the blade look shiny which is a truly epic sight.

6. Horn Bow

Now, if you are not looking for a base weapon but rather a situational one, having a bow in your stack seems pretty impressive. Fortunately, the Horn Bow provides some great stats to be considered as an even choice. The weapon is available pretty early in the game and can be used throughout on rare occasions. Although the scaling isn’t really impressive, the base and magic damages are quite hefty.

To get the horn bow, you can look under the bridge to the Hollowhorn Grounds. It is located in the underground river area. If you search through there you should easily find it somewhere in there as it is not well hidden. Despite its lack of scalability, it can be a useful weapon to take some distant shots at your enemies while avoiding close combat.

7. Great Omenkiller Cleaver

Just like the Grafted Blade Greatsword, the Great Omenkiller Cleaver is another superfluous weapon in Elden Ring. The wielder of this weapon would require some strength and practice to get used to it.

However, once you are eligible to wield this thing, it almost turns you into an unstoppable monster. The Omenkiller possesses the skill of Wild Strikes thus, allowing you to constantly move the weapon back and forth piercing through everyone coming in your way.

It is a useful weapon that can take down a pile of low-to-mid-tier enemies within seconds. Moreover, until you can keep your enemies busy with the constant hits, Omenkiller can guarantee you of getting no hits in return. You can kill the Omenkiller in the Atlas Plateau and take over this great weapon in your hands.

8. The Coded Sword

Finally, we have something, especially for the faith-based magic users. This holy-looking coded sword appears much later throughout the game. It is relatively much easier to access this sword.

However, the actual challenge occurs while unlocking the area where the sword is present. You have to beat at least two Shardbearers in order to unlock the area. It is available in the real Roundtable Hold in the capital city. Once you are able to unlock the area, you can easily explore the place and find this weapon.

The sword pictures a version of the lightsaber and with its unlockable blade skill, the sword brings in some amazing powers into the game. The coded sword is basically made up of ruins possessing some stunning ability that deceives your enemies and kills them in an instant.

The blade also bypasses any kind of shield which is the x-factor of this sword. Considering its looks and strength, the sword simply fits in every aspect making itself a wholesome weapon in Elden Ring.

Conclusion

In Elden Ring, you couldn’t even imagine surviving without some handy and powerful weapons. As you keep exploring throughout the game, you will discover various other weapons. But make sure you have the right ones that could win you wars. Most of the powerful weapons are open for use after killing the bosses. And if you are lucky enough you might even discover some other powerful weapons on your way.

However, these were some of the best weapons in Elden garden as per their strength and skill. Just ensure that your character is built enough to wield the specific weapon and you can further continue with your adventure.
